Someone else suggested tutorial levels, and I agree. Some levels are cluttered with obstacles that, when taken in combination with the bit of lag in the motion sensing, causes flying into objects and dying. there really needs to be a re-working of some levels. There really ought to be a bit increased sensitivity when using motion sensing and 2. Who wouldn't have fun flying a jet packed dinosaur who shoots weapons at other dinos? There are two issues though that I hope are resolved: 1. From the effects to the textures to the music to the opening video, this game is near the top of the heap of iTouch/Phone games that show off the power of the hardware. The presentation of Pangea games has always been high quality, and this is no exception.

On that note, I can't wait to see what you come out with next.įirst off: great game. I think you make the best games, but please consider auto saves and the ability to save the game within a level. This is extremely frustrating when you have put a lot of time into a level just to lose everything. Not a bad idea, but the game does crash occasionally I must admit. This means on some levels you could be 20 minutes into the game and a call could end the entire effort. First, the game is very challenging and you can only save the game once you have completed a level. Now.I have a few suggestions that would really, really help and they are all based on saving the game. You can comfortably play this game from any position with accurate controls. To my suprise, the neutral button works flawlessly when resetting from a sitting position to lying down. The visuals are absolutely beautiful and fluid and I find that controlling the pterodactyl is completely natural. I love this game!!! Every time I play it I am more and more amazed at the quality Pangea put into it.
#Nanosaur 2 prologue mac
Previous experience with the Mac version of Nanosaur 2 is very helpful.Besides the issue with saving and the slow steering, Nanosaur 2 is an impressive port for iPhone that is true to the original. Unfortunately, crashing into anything kills you instantly, and combined with the small screen and slow controls, this can be rather frustrating. The health system works well enough, with a shield on top of the standard health meter and four lives. As such, don't expect this to be a go-to game when you have a spare moment, but a game that you sit down and play. Each level takes a good amount of time to complete, about 15 minutes. That being said, the game's save system, like most Pangea ports for iPhone, only allows saving at the end of levels. The graphics and sounds are great, and it's not too difficult. All of the keyboard buttons on the original game are now on-screen buttons, a system that works quite well and almost better than the Mac version––I was pleasantly surprised.

Your accelerometer-controlled dinosaur seems a bit sluggish, not turning as quickly as you would expect. Nanosaur 2 for iPhone is exactly like Nanosaur 2 for Mac, with the exception of the control scheme.
